10/10/08 - October update

I have updated some new drawings I have done over recent months for David Mitchell's and Russell Brand's articles in the sport section of The Guardian. There is also another drawing that I did for The Doodler in The Comic.

I have drawn an illustration for The Comic which will be in The Guardian this Saturday. It is following a similar theme of weird creatures that I had done previously. This time kids can finsh off my woodland creatures drawing and then colour it in.

If you get the tube today and pick up a copy of the Metro newspaper I have illustrated an advert wrapped around the cover. The advert shows Evian water's refreshing influence at Wimbledon 2008.

I'm working on some exciting new projects at the moment, an illustration for Nickelodeon magazine in the US, illustrations for an exciting animation project, as well as my monthly Guardian sport drawing and some personal work I have been meaning to do for ages. I will update bits on my website when they are ready.

I have just finished a double page spread for Royal Mail Contact magazine for Redwood Publishing. The drawing is kind of based on a Monopoly board but with a difference. Cheers to Laura and all at YCN.

28/02/08 - DRAW Exhibition

I am proud to be exhibiting alongside DRAW the largest contemporary drawing exhibition to emerge out of New York. The exhibition (a tribute to the art of drawing) features original drawings, sketches and doodles by 300 artists from around the world. It kicks off in London at StolenSpace gallery from 6th-23rd March 2008 and will continue on a six-country world tour that includes showings in Tokyo, Berlin, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

I have a new drawing I drew especially for the show (there's only one copy!) that I did using black & red pens, pencil and markers on nice art paper.

For the second year now I have contributed to Thunder Chunky's Xmas project. A new drawing is revealed everyday (advent calender style) and mine is today. I have continued with the 'Suicidal Santa' idea and this year Santa is elaborately pouring extremely poisonous snakes down a chimney that he will climb down. Have a look here...

I have produced some drawings that have been animated by 0404 Creative for the new series of River Cottage on Channel 4. Here is a bit about the series...

I have done some drawings for Beyond the Valley's Spring / Summer '07 collection, they have been wonderfully printed on a variety of garments using metalic colours and discharge (bleech). The collection was on display as part of Wünderville featured as part of the London design festival.

What splendid weather we are having, I went for a dip in Hampstead Heath swimming pond the other day and although it was a dirty green colour it was very refreshing. Over the last few months I have been commissioned to do illustrations for Dazed & Confused, Another magazine and Britvic.

Drink in Brighton is launched! The project in collaboration with 0404 Creative, promotes a selection of pubs and bars around Brighton for Zelgrain a local pub chain. 5,000 A1 sized copies of my illustrated map of Brighton will appear in pubs around Brighton and will also be displayed on canvas and on cigarette machines. I have been on an adventure in the wonderful land of Barcelona. Whilst there I learnt a famous Catalonian saying (apparently)...

'I generally like things that are transparent or clear in appearance. However, I love my chocolate thick'

I was awarded the Art prize in assembly at Steyning Primary School, I celebrated by getting a milk lolly from the ice-cream van outside as it was quite a hot day.

I was born in Shoreham-By-Sea, Sussex. It's a lovely delightful place and a fun day out for all the family.
